With new sites appearing frequently I thought I would highlight the SSL issue. This recently caused a site owner to get upset here on Pheebay because I pointed the absence of a SSL certificate out to him. So rather than point this issue out on a case by case basis now I am posting this thread and will build upon it.

I make no apology whatsoever for pointing out a potential weakness in any site's security, particularly when users personal data is going to be transferred over the Internet.
