I haven't had a lot of experience with other CAs, but DigiCert have been very helpful and pretty easy to use. Have only had good experiences with their support, they're prompt, helpful and knowledgeable.

After having dealt with various vendors of certs, finding DigiCert was unbelievable. The took away the headache of ordering. Their FAQ's are extensive and because they have been in the business so long, all my questions are answered in the FAQ's, though their customer service personnel are wonderful to speak with. Our last vendor was the pits compared to Digicert. The had a cumbersome ordering process, took a long time to process and was difficult to support with 50+ individuals and 10+ divisions that need to request enterprise certs. The only issue we've had with Digicert has been moving from their Entrust-chained intermediate to their own root, but of course they helped out quickly. They also were very responsive to heartbleed and to the Chrome SSL changes so I give them credit for being on the ball there too. Other vendors have tried to lure us away with better offers, but I always tell them it will take more than dollar savings to make us move.

Listen, it is 6:00pm on a Saturday night and I'm trying to do my expense reports. I came across the charge for our services from November, but I have no invoice. I used DigiCert Live Chat. Ian came on right away and within 2 minutes I the copy of the invoice. Excellent! This review forced me to enter in information about more on the technical side which I had to guess since I really only deal with invoices. Oh well.
