Certificates are a maze. SSL.com is amazing.

This morning, while I have sent a message for the info I was connected to jerry. I love the way he has provided me all the information so quickly. He is the one have all the details about the products and services on finger tips. It was my first time and i am impressed with the service you guys are providing.

Once it's all set up, eSigner makes code signing easy with the ability for us to continue using signtool. When I had a set up issue, Phoenix and Jolen were able to quickly sort things out and get things working!

I used SSL.com because it had good reviews. But quite a surprise, here my experience with SSL.com, I purchased a 4 year code cert. 1.) Paid for a 4 year code cert but only received 3 years. Another support case, claim technical reasons and to contact them again in 3 years but then require special payment for dongle, etc. Refused to refund the additional year that has not been delivered. So, I paid for something I never received that I would call fraud. 2.) Support answers have no signature or name, spelling and timestamp suggest Indian. Support answers in 2 days. 3.) Email instructions that request validation are very lengthy but unclear and confusing. 5.) Customer portal confusing like emails, design style 1998. I received a code signing cert after several emails to support, therefore 2 out of 5 stars. Service is medium expensive (not cheap) hence I would rate overall performance/price poor.

We are a small company in Ukraine that develop a tiny system driver. To be able to run on modern Windows OS it requires the EV certificate. SSL.com was really helpful to make it possible. We resolved a lot of problems while validation process because of War we have in Ukraine that time and the service was really good to pass all validation stages. My boss had not knew any English world before validation team called us. But according to rules only Assignment signer is allowed to confirm that company exists and legal. So, support explained us in details what they will ask in very understandable form. I asked couple times for addition questions via life chat and every time I got support immediately.

I placed an order for an S-MIME certificate. The orders page shows Upload Docs under the Action column. I upload the docs, it show system has them. I log off log back on later it still shows Upload Docs under the Action column. I upload docs again. Same thing all over again. I talk to chat support, they say order is OK. It would be good if the order interface cleared the Upload Docs Action after they were in the system. It is confusing.
