We chose DigiCert based on 3 things: Price, Product and Reviews. The premium vendors were too expensive, DigiCert provided an excellent product coverage, and the general reviews about them were very good. There are other providers that have an identical product coverage but based on reviews, we'd rather pay that little bit more for peace of mind. Immediately after signing up, we got our account. There was a bit of a mix-up on our side in generating the CSR so we were a little delayed. But we soon got a call from DigiCert checking up on us to see if we needed any help! Somewhere along the line, we also locked our account out. Support was able to immediately assist in helping us get back in which following proper procedures.

I have purchased three wildcard certificates from Digicert and every time I've had to phone them I have had a great experience. I've always talked to someone knowledgable and friendly. They've always had a solution to my problems. Two examples, when renewing a certificate they re-issued on the previous intermediate certificate on request, and they've also provided single hostname certificates for the software we have that dislikes wildcard certs. None of this cost any extra or took any extra time, I made my requests and had certificates in hand within minutes. It helps that their prices are also among the lowest for wildcards.

The best certificate provider ever tested. They are fast (two hours at most), competent, patiente and very proffesional. Live chats with Christ solved the problems very easily: Perfect customer support.

Thier online chap support is superb - when there was an issue with the cert they issued, which was my fault, they sorted it out stright away. When I needed to ask a question about my cert they had all the answers. First class - very impressed.

I?ve bought EV SSLs, SSL?s MD EV SSLs and had major corporate accounts with Verisign, Comodo (no idea who you are dealing with or which company), Symantec, and Thawte and I only wish I had made my life as well as my team?s lives easier by finding DigiCert sooner. They knew before I did that our S Corp had been filed.
