I've had digicert certs ranging from personal use to major government websites. I recommend them on any new ssl project that I come across. They are by far the best value for the dollar, forget about verisign thwate etc. Easy to use and unlimited rekeys.

I like the wildcard support. Paid a bit more for the ability to generate separate csrs per server and duplicates of main cert. Especially useful when screwing up and blowing up a virtual machine and having to recreate it a few times.

After the Heartbleed OpenSSL vulnerability announcement we needed to rekey some of our web servers. The DigiCert website was under high load, but still very responsive. Even better, I was able to get support from a live representative with only 2 minutes of wait time, even during what is probably their busiest day ever. I couldn't hope for a better CA than DigiCert.

We use these certificates since 2010 and today we had to contact support because of an issue with Lotus Domino and our just renewed for three years wildcard certificate. Even while it's an issue on the IBM product they offered for 3 alternatives and we chose one of them. We're already working on installing the new certificates on the servers after less than an hour of identifying the problem. Amazing response speed.

These guys are the real deal. They have the tools you need to guide you through creating a CSR, make it super easy to submit, and give you instructions on how to finish the install. They also do a thorough job on validating who you are before they sign your cert (even of you don't buy an EV cert), which makes the certs they sign all the more trustworthy. Their customer service is super responsive and top notch (even on weekends). I'll be insisting on using them with all my customers from now on.
