Entrust SSL Certificate Reviews

I've been the administrator of our Entrust account for several years. In my fast paced and dynamic job, managing our Standard, Advantage, and UC certs via Entrust's Management Console is one less complex task I have to deal with. The Entrust sales and technical staff are exceptional and bend over backwards to meet our tight, and often spur of the moment needs from quick turnaround in ordering additional certificates to resolving issues and answering questions where an immediate response is necessary. I highly recommend using Entrust as your public CA.

After using other SSL providers, EnTrust's service and ease of use is by far the best. Additionally, their licensing structure and price points allowed us to save up to 75% of what we were previously paying. We have been very satisfied.

We switched from Verisign to Entrust and couldn't be happier. The support is excellent, both from our Account Representative Sam as well as their technical staff. If you are looking at upgrading from your current vendor for certificates, this is the place to come.

the site is very helpful and very responsive, however please try to remove the annoying horizontal bar that is displayed when results are shown this horizontal bar blocks some information from being viewed properly.

Our organization has a need for a variety of SSL certificate offerings including EV, UCC and standard certificats. Entrust is able to provide all of that with an easy to use interface for managing these as a customer. We've been happy with the pricing and the responsiveness of their customer support and sales team. Really, our only issues stem from our own limitations on payment methods. Having to issue a PO makes it difficult some times to get a quick response on adding certificate units for us to issue.

After switching to the managed certificates service with Entrust, it has become much easier to manage the several secure sites we have for our array of businesses and applications.

Was up and running in a couple hours (time for them to verify) and it is extremely easy to use the Certificate Management Service. You can get a certificate immediately.

I have multiple certs with them and have had no issue thus far. My sales rep ws great and the certs were issued in less than an hour. the pricing was very competitive as well.

After dealing with Entrust for 10 years we went back to them to get two new SSL Certificates for a different website. Ordered one on Friday March 6th for $159 and went back to order the other one 1 business day later, Monday March 9th. The price had gone up to $229. When I inquired about this 144% price increase I was told "On our website it does state that prices can change at anytime...With regards to competitive pricing your will see that Entrust is still very competitive." Hmmm, interesting way to deal with a customer after 10 years of trading with them...and now coming back for 2 more :o( After 3 business days I still didn't have my Certificate notwithstanding the fact that I had faxed them the required documents on the 2nd Day...and now they wanted proof that our phone number belonged to us, and required a phone company bill (we host our own VoIP phone system...no phone company bill available), or a Directory Assistance operator to verify it, or an Online phone directory listing...non of which are available for a privately hosted VoIP phone system. So I shopped them...and I found DigiCert. I saw their pricing for the same product (well, almost the same...it was actually better than what Entrust was offering) was $144. I chatted with them, then talked to them on the phone. VERY helpful making suggestions on various products...so I ordered both SSL Certificates from DigiCert in about 4 minutes (the DigiCert site is amazingly easy to navigate, and auto fills from your certreq making things that much easier). I received their email listing the required documentation, which I faxed right over to them. From start to finish...DigiCert completed the process in 2 hours 22 minutes and I had my SSL Certificates !!! Now that is what I call the union of unsurpassed service coupled with fair pricing...Entrust should take lessons from DigiCert.
