I had been told that CAs no longer issues SHA-1 certificates as support is being withdrawn soon. The Email server I wanted to communicate with had not been updated so I had to have a current SHA-1 certificate. The sales person was very helpful and I got exactly what I was looking for. Thanks

The guy that helped me was called Chris Page, and was very helpful and understanding with my lack of understanding!... took all the time i needed to make sure everything went through ok... cannot fault the customer service.... just waiting for the cert to arrive now so it can be installed....

As someone who always approaches certs with a certain amount of trepidation I have found globalsign most helpful. They have guided us through the process of ordering new certs, and transferring old ones "very" patiently. And also explained the in and outs of the esoteric options along the way. That and the notification emails, gives one a more John Lewis type of experience. Thumbs up.

All new stuff to us. Chris clearly described the process & options. When the CSR was in place, he contacted us immediately & took us through the account set up / purchase process, step by step. He was able to help with details which might catch you out eg company number. As we've gone for Extended, it'll take a day or two further for the vetting process to complete, but all pretty painless so far.

I wanted to pay by bank Transfer which was a Little bit confusing but Mrs. Verena Filieri was very helpful and quickly solved any issues. How quickly are the certificates isssued: actually I don't really remember but you are forced to make a choice so I Chose "After a day"

Global sign are a bit more expensive than others but they are always available to help. If you have any questions they pick up the phone straight away and answer questions via email very quickly. Would highly recommend.
