Lousy support for older devices

AlphaSSL / Globalsign changed CA keys in January 2024 without issuing a cross-signed chain cert. That dropped support for all iOS devices before iOS 15 (and who knows what else). Last year's cert was fine, this years cert is unusable for us (on a mail server). Sectigo seems to be supported back to iOS 10... so that's what it got replaced with.
