Sectigo SSL Certificate Reviews

Sectigo has the best prices for Personal Authentication Certificates, but it can be a little difficult to find what one is looking for - especially when you have to do it once a year. Support is usually helpful and can accelerate a few things. Validation only through some certrain e-mail adresses is a bit cumbersome.

Got our EV certificate for code signing. One hiccup during the process was caused by us, and Sectigo helped fix it the same day. How can you beat that kind of service for something so important. They earned our trust and we couldn't be happier at this point.

Buying standard Domain SSLs is pretty straight forward and I have no problem with them - that is because the input required from them is minimal so they can't screw it up. However, purchasing an EV SSL - 3 years in a row has been nothing but problematic. They are incompetent and they are liars. They use excuses like D&B database but it is just laziness. Tried to renew an EV SSL with the exact same details from 12 months ago - nothing changed - and 2 weeks I waited before contacting them and their response - couldn't verify number on D&B... So the exact same number they used last year to verify, one year later, cannot be verified - even though it is still the main line into the business? I'm guessing they dont even check. Frustrating & annoying. Pure incompetence or just complete laziness - either way, a pain in the arse to deal with...

I'been using Comodo SSL certificates for years and it's good to verify Sectigo offers as good a service as Comodo used to offer. Support chat is handy and the guys taking care of it are always efficient, kind and ready to help. I've just used your chat and Craig's assistance was superb.

I'm a user of hackerguardian.com, and didn't recognize the sectigo name on the pci scan results email. Cambri helped me figure out my issue right away, and was polite and helpful.

Price is moderate, but takes way long to verify. I would rather go with non-EV free ssl from lets encrypt.

I've contacted support several times and, after over a week, have yet to receive a response and the SSL certificate has yet to be issued. When I called customer support and was connected to someone, the person seemed to be unaware that I was on the line. They could be heard talking in the background but did not greet me. I said "hello" 3 times to no response. Finally, the person said something incoherent and immediately transferred me to someone else.
