I looked at the price in the UK and found an EV SSL certificate from Comodo was £250 (GBP) plus VAT, so £300 in total. I see they have live 24 hour chat. I then looked at https://www.ssls.com/ and see them at $78.99 (about £60 GB) The site said 24 hour support, but when I looked, you use support tickets, so not really 24/7. I then went back to Comodo and asked what's the difference between a £300 certificate and a £60. They said the other place was a reseller and must be selling it as a loss-leader. At this point I thought I'd pay https://www.ssls.com/ by PayPal, hoping any problems I'd get my money back. Within a few minutes I received an email from https://www.ssls.com/ with a link to the main Comodo site. From there, the certificate issue was handled by Comodo, so I was placed I'd paid about £60 not £300!! I did have a few issues with the certificates, but Comodo do have 24/7 online chat, and that worked well. So I was well impressed.
