DigiCert SSL Certificate Reviews

I have used a good majority of other SSL issuers out there, but stopped shopping around when I got to DigiCert. Their technical expertise, professionalism, customer service and knowledge base are all top notch. They are awesome at what they do, and they care about their customers!

Wow the support is beyond amazing. I mean wow. Brand new to Linux and my tech support guy didn't just do it for me but taught me how to install SSL on future machines. I don't think amazing begins to show how happy I am right now. Don't buy with anyone else!

Very Professionals , fast response and always fix my issues

Renewing our Unified Comms cert took about half an hour. I used SHA-1 because some of our clients use old systems. I was told my Digicert that if we wanted to change the cert to use SHA-2 instead, they would reissue it free of charge.

The bad: DigiCert aren't the cheapest option around. (They're nowhere near the most expensive, though.) The good: Everything else! Speed is excellent - for most certs, it takes about a minute, and even for certificates requiring us to sign and fax legal documentation, it still takes less than half an hour. The guides on their site are clear and up-to-date, and for anything they don't cover, DigiCert's support staff have always been immediately accessible and able to answer any questions. If you need to cancel an order, there won't be any billing arguments: they'll check that you're sure, and then go straight ahead. Finally, DigiCert are proactive about the things that matter (your certs are expiring, you should change to SHA2, etc), but have never once sent us marketing spam in the seven years we've been doing business with them. You won't find that with the super-cheap outfits; I'm speaking from painful experience there.

We have used DigiCert for a few years and their setup site and staff has always made the creation and installation of our SSL certificates a stress free experience. Since renewals are done every few years, we rely on their instructions to remind us how to upload and enable the new certificates. Their team has always been eager to help which is the core of their value. Just recently, without disdain, they walked us through a seemingly simple task that had us stumped. We appreciate what they do and recommend their services.

Contacted them in a panic because my certificate expired in minutes. Couldn't find user name or password. Contact was under a person who no longer works here. Your basic nightmare. My contact via chat - Larry - walked me through the entire process of reordering the certificate, establishing myself as the new contact, everything that a panicked person needs. Thank you!

DigiCert is a pleasure to work with. Their pricing is fair and their support is helpful. I had to change some information after my order was submitted and they were extremely easy to work with. They even followed up with me after I forgot to get back to them. Their website does look a little dated, but don't be fooled, they are very easy to work with.
